PE Pipe Material Coding Scheme Is Difficult To Determine

PE pipe material coding scheme is difficult to determine. The development of plastic pipes in China is fast, and the quality is constantly improved. The PE pipe is widely used in building water supply, construction drainage, buried drainage pipe, electrical and telecommunication protection casing, industrial pipe, construction heating, pipeline, agricultural pipe and so on. It is mainly used in urban water supply, urban gas supply and farmland irrigation, and there is great demand in the market.

According to the requirements of GB/T228 and figure 3, the PE tube tensile test shall intercept the strip specimen representing the entire wall thickness of the pipe from the PE pipe. The transverse tensile test should be flatten with the sample. It is also agreed to use round bar specimens made from unflatten samples. But after pressing, the sample must be treated with the same heat treatment as PE pipe. The specimens for bending test shall be intercepted according to the provisions of GB/T232 and 6. PE pipes with wall thickness greater than 20mm. From the manufacturer's selection, tubular specimens can be used for testing the tube of PE pipe with an outer diameter not greater than 210mm PE. The weld should be basically neat, and partial defects can be removed, but the rolled oxide layer must not be removed from the sample. If PE pipes are to be heat-treated, the samples can be intercepted and flattened before heat treatment.

When storing PE pipes, keep away from fire sources, heat insulation, keep dry and clean in warehouse, and PE pipes can be recycled. It is strictly forbidden to mix any impurities and strictly prohibit sun and rain. Transportation should be stored in a clean, dry and roofed compartment or cabin, no sharp objects such as iron nails, and PE pipes are strictly prohibited from mixing with flammable aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons and other organic solvents.
